    ISR Routers Models
    Cisco ISR series includes:
    • ISR 4000 Series
    • ISR 1000 Series
    • ISR 800 Series
    • ISR 900 Series
    • ISR 1900 Series
    • ISR 2900 Series
    • ISR 3900 Series
The ISR series routers are made for less computing-intensive environments, they use Cisco’s IOS operating system, as opposed to IOS XE or IOS XR, and have a small footprint in comparison to the ASR. They also have lower maximum Ethernet speeds. For example, the ISR 4000 supports up to 10 G Ethernet.
