Mỗi đầu nối SFF-8088 hoặc SFF-8644 (nội bộ) trên thẻ mở rộng QXP SATA hỗ trợ tối đa bốn ổ SATA. Có thể lắp đặt card QXP phù hợp dựa trên số lượng ổ cứng bạn muốn kết nối để mở rộng lưu trữ. Ví dụ: một NAS hoặc PC có thể cài đặt hai card 4-cổng QXP-400eS , trong đó một card được kết nối với JBOD enclosure dạng tháp 4 khay và card còn lại được kết nối với TL-R400S rackmount 4 khay.
