  - Chỉ mua phần cứng (Hardware only): Phù hợp làm VPN Gateway cho chi nhánh nhỏ, hoặc làm router/firewall cơ bản cho mạng gia đình, quán cà phê, cửa hàng nhỏ không yêu cầu các lớp bảo mật cao.
  - Mua phần cứng + FortiCare (không bundle bảo mật): Dành cho tổ chức muốn thiết bị luôn được cập nhật firmware và có hỗ trợ RMA, nhưng vẫn chỉ dùng các tính năng firewall và VPN cơ bản.
  - Mua Bundle bảo mật (UTP/ATP): Đây là ứng dụng được khuyến nghị. Dùng làm Tường lửa biên mạng (NGFW) cho văn phòng nhỏ (SMB), trường học, cửa hàng bán lẻ, để bảo vệ khỏi virus, xâm nhập và kiểm soát truy cập web, ứng dụng.

  - Tuy nhiên, các dịch vụ bảo mật nâng cao như IPS, Application Control, Web Filtering, Antivirus, Anti-Spam, và AI/ML threat detection sẽ bị giới hạn hoặc không hoạt động đầy đủ.
